Joanne and Andrew McClure extend a warm welcome to those choosing Foxhills for their stay in the wonderful Isle of Wight.
We offer 8 individually styled guest rooms, all en-suite with baths or showers. Excellent WIFI, free on site parking and two electric car charging points. Plus the little extras like fresh milk in your rooms and feather pillows on request. We want you to make yourself at home at Foxhills. Our aim is for you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Foxhills of Shanklin is located on a wide leafy avenue amidst beautiful gardens backed by dappled woodland. Just 15 minutes’ walk from the nearest sandy beach, and just a short stroll from Old Shanklin Village with its vast choice of restaurants, coffee shops and quaint thatched cottages.
We offer a varied choice of breakfast options, ranging from full English, to some more adventurous fayre. Strawberry Granola, Home made Bircher Muesli, Avocado toast, and Homemade Baked Bean Medley with Feta Cheese all feature on our menu and there are plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. Foxhills is fully licensed, so feel free to enjoy a glass of wine, beer, spirits, or maybe a jug of one of our exciting cocktails in our landscaped terrace gardens or comfortable lounge.

- NEW!!! Self Catering Holiday Lets We are now marketing Foxhills as a whole house let all year round. It is a great venue for a family or group holiday or to host large gatherings to celebrate a special occasion or milestone birthday. We can offer exclusive use of the house and gardens if you take 4 rooms or more sleeping from 8 - 16 guests (plus the option of a few extra beds in rooms for children only). One or two small dogs are also welcome. We have a large catering kitchen with all the necessary equipment to allow the budding chefs in your party to indulge their passions. However if you would all like to sit back and enjoy a special day or particular meal we can offer catering to supply and clear away only or a fully served sit down meal. Please call us to discuss if this is something you are interested in.

Environmentally Aware
At Foxhills Isle of Wight guest house we are working hard to reduce our impact on our fragile environment. We all need to do our bit to minimize our carbon footprint, and we are trying to eliminate as much single use plastic and packaging items from everyday use. We now offer loose teabags and coffee on all our hospitality trays and have replaced the sugar sachets with cubed sugar too. We provide Fresh Milk and drinking water in a fridge for our guests use situated on the top landing. We use stainless steel drinking straws and stirrers, refillable toiletries in our bathrooms and our paper products, including toilet paper are 100% recycled. Our sauces, butter and preserves are no longer served in prepacked portions and we have replaced the sugar sachets with sugar dispensers in the breakfast room.
We are big on recycling too and kindly ask guests to assist us in ensuring your recycle-able items are separated. All our food waste is separated and composted where possible and we have several water butts around the property to collect rain water for our plants. We have also now moved over entirely to LED lighting and installed some light sensors for the corridors and stairs.
By offering our guests a vegetarian friendly menu, with vegan options, we hope we are also fulfilling our guests expectations.

Accessibility
We have a lovely spacious ground floor room, which is located at the back of the hotel. It has a king size bed and large en-suite shower room with a toilet , basin and a walk in shower. The bedroom has a comfortable seating area and plenty of storage. Please refer to our access statement for more detailed description.
We are very pleased to announce that we have just been awarded the Gold Green Tourism Award.
